Samantha Gutstadt

Samantha Lauren Gutstadt began her acting career at the age of five with a series of commercials and dance and theatre training.  Since then she has continued to hone her skills as an actor having studied dance, singing and acting with some of the most well respected professionals in Canada and the United States.  At present Samantha is making a name for herself in film and television.  She just completed the feature film Shark City starring Vivica A Fox, Carlos Rota and Corey Haim, is about to start shooting a thriller with Erika Christensen and Shane West in Vancouver by the team who produced Saw and Disturbia. She has appeared on numerous Canadian and American Television series such as, The Morgan Waters Show on CBC, The Leap Years on Showcase, Puppets Who Kill on the Comedy Network, Tarzan on the WB, Kevin Hill on UPN and Degrassi the Next Generation on CTV. Samantha has also appeared in a string of national television commercials, most notably Sprite, Bell Mobility, Toyota, Carson’s Department Stores, Continental Airlines, Ortho-Evra, Casino Rama and Tampax Pearl.

Samantha has also graced the stage in two successful plays; In Between at the Centre for the Arts and Archie Andrews, What The Hell Happened in the 2006 Toronto Fringe Festival.

As a model, Samantha has appeared in magazines, book covers, national campaigns and fashion shows.

Samantha is very excited to be playing the role of Jen in the upcoming feature film Shark City, also starring Corey Haim, Vivica Fox and Carlo Rota.

Samantha just made the move to Los Angeles where she has booked her first modeling campaign, commercial campaign and was a host for LA Fashion Week.
